-THE WHAT-





We haven't formulated any revolutionary or groundbreaking new vision here at Trinity. Instead, we just set out to understand what God's Word tells us about the goal of the church. We discovered a vision that's simple, but radical:​



HELPING PEOPLE LOVE & FOLLOW JESUS.



"Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ. For this I toil, struggling with all his energy that he powerfully works within me." -Colossians 1:28-29



-THE WHy-





Our vision is fueled by a singular, overarching, beautiful purpose. It's the reason our church exists. It's the reason every other church exists. It's the reason every particle in the universe exists:



TO GLORIFY GOD.



"Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen."

-THE how-





We believe this vision will be actualized as we become more and more like the Church God intends us to be. We're far from perfect, and you won't hear us claiming otherwise. But God continues to propel us past our faults and has set our focus on what He wants Trinity to look like, expressed in four pillars:



GOSPEL



CENTERED



We want to be a community that understands that the Gospel needs to be at the center of all that we do, because it's the life-giving message of grace.


"For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes..." -Romans 1:16



SPIRIT



LED



We want to be a community that is filled with more & more of the presence & power of the Holy Spirit, so we can be a church that passionately loves Jesus.


"... and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness." -Acts 4:31



MISSION



DRIVEN



We want to be a community that magnifies the glory of Christ by sharing the Gospel of Christ, around the world & around the block.


"How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?" -Romans 10:14



DISCIPLE



PRODUCING



We want to be a community whose collective heart beats for the gospel, so we can produce disciples who produce disciples.


"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you...." -Matthew 28:19-20
