How Jesus Saved Me

I was blessed to grow up in a Christian home where church, Sunday School, Bible stories, devotions, Calvinettes, and youth group were all part of my childhood. My faith journey continues, and I have grown closer to God with many experiences, including 20 years helping with Calvinettes/GEMS and raising a son with special needs. Currently D-team, ladies’ Bible study, and Sunday School are keeping me grounded in the Word.

What I Do For Trinity

I help clean and set up the church each week.

What I Do Outside Trinity

I love spending time with my family, being home and working in the yard, cross stitching, chocolate, baking, and listening to the Cubs.

Random Fact

My husband, Scott, and I met on a a blind date at Tulip Time set up by none other than our Director of Discipleship, Amy Steenhoek. (We were high school classmates at North Mahaska and our husbands were classmates at Pella Community.)
